The site's community of readers and writers determine what gets published.

We do not accept unsolicited submissions. Writing published on tNBW Publishing is chosen from work posted on theNextBigWriter.com. The details are as follows:

Become a member of theNextBigWriter
Post your writing
Each piece posted to the site receives guaranteed feedback and ratings from authors and readers on the site.
These ratings are used to determine a rank for your submission
Periodically the top ranked work is chosen to receive paid publishing contracts and be published on tNBW Publishing.
In addition, the site runs other competitions to select work to be published on TNBWPublishing.

For selected work, we pay $30 per short story and $20 per poem.

There is a membership fee of either $39.95 for the year, $14.95 per quarter or $7.95 per month to join theNextBigWriter.

All writers who post work to the site receive:
