PUTTING THE FINE IN LIBRARIAN

This is my entry in a July Writer's Digest competition. They have provided this prompt. "Seven days ago, _____________. Now, nobody will talk to me." Entries are to be 750 words or fewer and will be judged on inventiveness, creativity and where appropriate, humor. I'm always pushing deadlines. Must submit by July 10. Winning entry will run in the December issue. Your suggestions are welcome. Also, if you konw the publication, is this too risque? Should I tone it down? Last revised 2 p.m. on 7/9.
