Canvas of Shadows

Written by: Odin Roark

How a poet perceives his or her surroundings may always remain a mystery, but sometimes a fella has to try and unravel the unknown. PS - In an effort to give perceptual credit where credit is due, Hamler picked up on a word I had originally included in the finishing of the poem, but before posting, allowed my hesitancy to rule. It's back in now due to his keen eye and ear...even if it required the conversion of a noun to a bastardized adjective, proving once again that trusting one's intuitive sense is usually spot on. Enjoy.
