IMPETUOUS HEART

Nora is a young Irish girl whose first love Tim is going off to fight in France in 1916. They meet on a beach and then he leaves her, and she embarks on a series of adventures including meeting her Russian cousin in Kilkenny, finding spirits and prophecies in a Kilkenny cave and helping her village to resist the British occupation. When Tim comes back wounded, she cares for him but then her parish priest finds another urgent need for her in Boston. Based in part on historical research and folklore.
