I wrote this in August 2002 while absorbing the suicide of one of my best friend's daughters--life got to be too much for her--we still miss her. Even though I've received several suggestions along the lines of changes, I feel the piece stands well enough as is. For those who like it, thank you--for those who don't, peace.
