The Stranger

I am getting closer to finding a comfortable format to call my own I have written two large Narratives one at 1800 words and one at 800. The 800 word narrative was received extremely well and the longer one not so well. So I have decided 800 words is my cutoff using a base ABAB rhyming pattern but that will vary because I enjoy changing it up. This is a short narrative useing alexandrine please let me know if it is technically sound. I have experimented with Alexandrines and I feel like this is the direction I would like to go. The 12 syllable count gives me a huge buffer and I feel will work. If anyone is familiar with this meter please scrutinize this and correct it as needed.
