The Curtain Falls

A celebration brings together a crowd of people who have known each other over the years in war and peace, in sickness and in health, in anger and in tranquil comradeship. Old mysteries are recalled. Old injuries forgotten. Past slanders are ridiculed. All that is incorporated in the simple passage of the years. I would appreciate any feedback at all. Is the account realistic? Does it move the reader?
