School Daze

I wrote this chapter up the other night. It's out of order for the book, but I'm bursting to get it out there. Paramedics came to being in the sixties and the job was intended to bring a bit of the emergency room to your living room and be the bridge for emergent medical care until the doctor could take over. Here we are, many years later and, let's just say, that's not how we're used.
