SYNOPSIS - HOME BEFORE DARK

This is the synopsis I have come up with to send with 30 pages of HBD to an agent next Tuesday. I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how I can make it better! Here in Aussieland we do not have to give every little detail in a synopsis, just enough to pique the interest of the agent or publisher.
