Shadow Chaser: Exsanguination (Revised)

Any and all feedback is welcome. It's a rewrite, so I really need to know about the revised scenes.

Sarah stared at the shower's tile wall in front of her, barely feeling the hot water beating against her naked back. She breathed the steam-filled air deeply, trying to keep the tears at bay as she felt a piece of her soul die. It took no time to wash the blood off her skin. Once again, she looked down at her hands, thinking of just how a couple of weeks ago she was happy. She was human.
