SKIRTING THE ISSUE

This is my entry in Round Two of a summer-long fiction competition. You have to write a piece of fiction 2,500 words or less from one of three prompts. Killer prompts this week. The one that inspired this piece was large women's nylons. Two years ago, I wrote a 350 flash on this theme. I added about 1,100 words to that original piece and shipped it off.
