I Will Be Here

My First Attempt at Poetry!! I wrote it after I watched an old western movie where the cowboy was on the ground, mortally wounded, as the woman held his head in her lap. In that touching scene she was begging him not to die, and he looked at her, smiling as his blood dripped to the ground, and said, "I would never leave you."
