The Happiness Apprentice

In the form of a comic, coming-of-age novel, The Happiness Apprentice explores the positive psychology movement through protagonist Mike Morgan, an ADD afflicted snowboarder, who wakes up one day—dead—in a job that’s way over his head. As an unwilling recruit in The Happiness Initiative, miserable Mike is thrust into an environment where everyone is joyous. Even Christ, nailed to the cross, has a smile on his face. And worse yet, Mike’s assignment is to help living people find happiness. But his real challenge is to regain his own, despite pining away for his hot girlfriend, fending off advances from his perky, middle-aged boss, and of course, being dead. All comments welcome.
