Wild Green Man

The Green Man is a consistent mythological figure in British culture. He is the Green Knight in the tale of Sir Gawaine. His face is represented in stone peering through branches on the facade of churches. Many pubs in the South East are called The Green Man. He is in fact the unrestrained wildness of nature that we try to defeat. It is a constant battle that we may not want to win.
