Mundy's Blunder (rewrite)

An excellent review let me know that previous ending didn't match beginning clues. I'd welcome any feedback. If anybody reads it who saw it before, I'd appreciate knowing whether the new ending fits better! This is a yarn about an FBI agent who makes a frustrating mistake.
