Dot Winkles

Written by: Whalehead King

I prefer to think of this as semi-fiction. Though mostly folderol, it is written in a straight-faced, reportorial style. It could be considered hoax fiction in the spirit of P.T. Barnum without the bombast. Is this beleivable? I think so since it contains more than a kernel of truth. It is one of a series of food stories that take place in and celebrate Dorchester, Mass., the biggest and most diverse borough of Boston. I intend to publish the collection for local distribution come fast-approaching summer so I am interested if I am on the wrong track. Thank you.
