The Handmaiden of Satan

This is a story I published in my weekly column for our local newspaper. Just so you know, Emma has figured out that if she doesn't try to jump into the window, she gets to curl up in bed. The only problem is now that she can't jump up in the window, she steals my glasses. Usually I find them a day or two later lying int he middle of the bedroom floor. Any and all input would be appreciated.
