The Fetish

Ray Ena is a young native American girl immersed in the compulsion of gambling as deeply as her mother was enmeshed in alcohol and promiscuity. The big question is: will she be able to escape to a good life? I would welcome feedback along the lines of whether this could be a character for a novel about the effects of casino gambling on natives and non-natives, the tribes and their patrons.
