WAR HAPPENED TO MOMMA

I am looking back now as an adult and understanding for the first time what brought about such a change in my mother. It is strange but complete environmental changes of the sort at the first half of the 20th century is not possible today. Then life was as different as daylight and dark for those in the city and in the country. It wasn't the people who were so different it was the life styles. These are some observations as an adult and viewing through both the eyes of an adult and a child.
