Farewell to Valerie

I've been writing about Valerie in "Lost Grandmother" and after 120 pages, have finally put the pen down. Her story is on its way to Random House. I hope she continues being an off-beat role model for teenagers everywhere. I never had as much fun as writing about this girl and sneaking in my own versions of reality as if they were hers. She put up with me. Thanks to all the reviewers who helped along the way. This poem is dedicated to all of you.
