Sonata, Father Has Gone to Sleep

Written by: pearlvisions

When my Daddy was in his last illness and I moved closer to my parents, he did not really know me any more. His voice became thin and wispy. He was confused and afraid, if he could not see one of us beside his bed, and would try to call "Is there anybody there? Anybody at all?" We stayed close in the room with him at all times. But I had the feeling I was too late in coming, and seemed to him a stranger. This is my first Italian Sonata. Please feel free to criticize constructively. Your suggestions are welcome, to help me improve.
