Our Grandpa, an exercise

Knowing Grandpa Allison was an experience most children never have. He was an unusual person in that though he was only a farmer, he educated himself by reading great authors and poetry, and served for many years on the local school board while also providing a home for new single teachers who came there from somewhere else. Because of him, I am trying to write poetry.
