DE GAL AT DE TOP

Mark Twain said how Americans tell a story is as important as the story they tell. This is a modern-day fable that I have tightened since last posting and edited in response to comments from this site and others. I'm reading it at an Open Mic Friday at the College, and I'm going to try to submit it to multiple publications this weekend. Your feedback is welcome.
