|How Little We Know||jack the knife||Novel||9||n/a||Feb 25, 2014|
Summary:I'm bringing back one (at least!) of the characters from my last novel, "Teammates." Luke Elliot thinks he has left his secret past behind him when he settles down into a comfortable life as loving husband and legitimate businessman. Then tragedy strikes, and, in despair, he flees from everything which could foster painful memories, hoping to move on with a fresh start. And that's when he meets Jessica Morrow, an enticing woman whose mysterious history Luke chooses to ignore at first, because she has made him whole again. But when he feels compelled to unravel the enigma of Jessica, he finds himself forced to call upon his lethal skills once more - in order to save lives, though, this time. Including his own.
|Hitchhiker 2||SquarePeg||Novel||2||n/a||Feb 23, 2014|
Summary:Just getting started on this one. Have the crime storyline fleshed out, but still working on the sub-plots & character growth... any thoughts that come to mind as you read is great - don't think you have to have read #1 to figure it out. This one's got crime mixed with lots of humor (like #1). NOTE: I use around sections/words I am struggling with & always love input on those.
|COLD VENGEANCE||Neemuch||Novel||0||n/a||Feb 19, 2014|
Summary:When Presidential Candidate, Senator Jack Malloy, is lured to a secret tryst and murdered, the gossip inside the Washington Beltway is that the assassin is someone inside the Government, probably an agent of the CIA. Fifteen years ago Malloy gained notoriety by holding Congressional hearings on the CIA and passing legislation that reined in the agency’s freewheeling style. Because of his Committee’s revelations a number of promising careers were left in ruins. When Malloy was murdered he was planning a new round of hearings and investigations, hoping to ride the attending publicity into the White House. Grant Loewen, the recently retired Director of CIA Middle East Operations, is recruited by Bill Brewster, the Director of Clandestine operations, to contact his old CIA colleagues and see if he can get any sense of who might have killed the Senator. Brewster believes someone whose career was ruined fifteen years earlier may have used the currently planned hearings as a cover to kill Malloy. Grant Loewen’s sympathies lie with whoever killed the senator. Several of Grant’s CIA friends were murdered when Malloy’s committee released their names to the press. Reluctantly he agrees to look up the people he knew fifteen years ago. Brewster is known to be a master schemer and Grant is unsure what Brewster’s motivations for recruiting him are, but he fears not going along might place him under suspicion. And Grant has another reason. By coincidence, he was nearby the night Malloy was killed. If that comes to light, he wants to be able to manage it himself. Soon Grant finds himself entwined in a tangle of intrigue whose roots go back to the original hearings Rather than identifying Malloy’s killer, he becomes involved in a search for the real person behind the deaths of his former friends and colleagues.

|The Trophy Wife||graymartin||Novel||8||n/a||Jul 29, 2013|
Summary:When cosmetic dermatologist Jake Goodwin meets Briana Caulder, she leaves a lingering impression, and it’s not a good one. Beautiful. Entitled. Obnoxious. In short, his new patient is the caricature of a Fairfield County, Connecticut trophy wife. But when Briana returns days later, she’s a transformed woman: soft-spoken, polite, shy. And terrified. Goodwin immediately suspects she's a victim of spousal abuse. Trapped in his own faltering marriage, he can’t help but reach out to her. But when friendship turns into something more, Briana’s powerful husband retaliates, with deadly consequences. Suddenly, Goodwin stands to lose everything: his career, his family, even his life. But can he trust Briana to help him? Or does she have her own dark, hidden agenda? All feedback is welcome! I shelved this for a while and wouldn't mind getting guidance from new sets of sharp eyes...
