Summary:

I decided to be brave and post the lyrics to a song I recently wrote. I know the timing is off and the words don’t always flow the way I’d like them to flow. But, I’m too close to it and can’t see what or where or how I can make the changes it needs to make it work. So, I’m hoping you can give me some ideas. All comments are welcome. It is done in a ballad form. I hear Willie Nelson’s voice in my head when I sing it. Hopefully, that will give you an idea of the “sound” and flow I’m looking for. It is a story of theft and deception and then victory and redemption.
