Summary:19-year-old Eva has a boyfriend back home in Oregon, but what American girl can resist a Scottish accent? Romancing an Edinburgh barkeep while working abroad, she knows she's taking risks. What she doesn't expect is the third guy entering the picture: a sarcastic fellow traveler who discovers her secret and becomes her unlikely confidante. Meanwhile her best friend scares herself witless ghost-hunting in Edinburgh's medieval streets, and Eva's boyfriend gets it into his head to come visit without advance warning. It will be a miracle if Eva can leave Scotland with all her relationships, and her sanity, intact.
Types of feedback? Any! I'm still tinkering with this story, but hope to get it posted this year and shape it into the type of Young Adult novel that adults enjoy too.

Summary:I came up with the perfect excuse for why I'd be spending so much time with Gabe. Okay, so with Sam there could never be a good reason for me spending time with Gabe, but this would have to do: The Tri-County Martial Arts Tournament. I would explain to Sam that I have a burning desire to kick some serious tail at the tourney and Gabe was going to be my own private tutor.
Yikes. He would hate it. But it beat telling him the truth.
Hey, Sam, guess what? Gabe is actually a higher being. He was sent here to find me. My migraines - well, I've been meaning to tell you this, but I really do see dead people, and all sorts of scary stuff, but it's okay, because you see, Sam, I'm The Seer. That's right, I'm The Seer. And I'm the only thing standing between a race of higher beings that you've never heard of before and utter annihilation. I have to spend hours with Gabe every week because I'm the Obi-Wan to their Princess Leia. I'm their only hope.
He'd call for the Straightjacket Brigade immediately. Who'd believe a story like that--especially with a history of mental illness in the family? No, The Tri-County Martial Arts Tournament would have to do.

Summary:This is really more for a middle grade audience and is a humorous tale. It's about one of those staple teen protagonists, Abbie (who happens to have an funny bodily issue), who is tired of being picked on by the school biatch, Dylan, and decides to give her a taste of her own medicine.
I wrote this for fun and I hope you like it. Feel free to comment at will. As any writer should, I can take it.Chapters: |

Summary:Harper Southwood thinks she is a changeling, switched at birth and dropped into a human family so her troll family could raise an attractive child. She is, of course, not really a troll--she's a teenager. She fits in nowhere, not with her beautiful family or her beautiful best friend or on this planet at all, as far as she's concerned. She has one power, or sense, which involves an awareness of when people are getting sick, but she can't sense that her mother has an extremely serious illness or her best friend suffers from a serious depression. It takes Harper dealing head on with the things she can't sense and learning to MAKE sense of them before she can renounce her trollhood and find her place in humanity.
I'd like feedback about how successful I am in portraying the voice of Harper and other characters, as well as how the pacing is working--are enough things happening and enough questions remaining unanswered as you go to build suspense as to what is going to happen next? Chapters: |

Summary:(I NEED TO CUT ABOUT 10,000 WORDS FROM THIS NOVEL. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED) Weird stuff is happening to thirteen-year old Viola DeMarron, and it sure the heck isn’t puberty—unless puberty consists of getting sucked Underground to have deep and meaningful conversations with the roots of vegetables and the Tenders who care for them.
After waking to find mud on her feet, it dawns on her these episodes must be more than freaky dreams.
