Summary:The story is set in the '50s during the McCarthy era and the reign of the scandal rag, Confidential magazine. The place is Los Angeles, California. The mood of the country is frightened: H-bombs, communists, and scandal.
I would like constructive feedback, particularly from those interested in the movie industry during that period, also from those who like the hard-boiled style. Chapters: |

Summary:I have been planning of this as a novel for several years and am returning to it in hopes I can make it work as a novel. The premise is: A thousand colonists have landed on a planet populated by what they think are animals but actually are sientient and intelligent beings, somewhat resembling squirrels, who are telepathic. They have found out that some will return to earth to report their find. This is not accepted by the planetary inhabitants. I am submitting this as a short story until I decide what to do with it.Chapters: |
