 | Anger Visible | Guy Credules | Poetry | Poetry | 6 | 0.33 | May 17, 2012 |
Summary:A poem about the sadness of life and the regrets of anger. Each poem I write has something to do with the moment in which it was written. This one was written in about fifteen minutes after the event of outburst anger when four unbelievable events came together at the same time hitting me with hopelessness. So most of my poems are of a personal reflection nature and mainly invoked by my emotional state at the time of writing.
I'm just trying to put out a set of different poems from different states of mind to see what it invokes in the reader...

 | The Remarkable Martin Faulkner | Esteban Luis Soto | Novel | Fantasy | 2 | n/a | Oct 30, 2011 |
Summary:Martin Faulkner is a moral deviant of the spiritual realm yet an extremely successful businessman in the “Psychic Arts.” He is a vile man, yet the best (or worst depending on your point of view) of his kind. Since his childhood, he was gifted with extraordinary psychic abilities but his one true weakness is preying on the recently deceased souls of the young and desperate. His favorites are those of young Native Americans that perish from disease in the San Marcos Pueblo across the river from him.
Johnathon Bergstrom is a freelance journalist hired to document the life and impending demise of Faulkner but instead finds himself psychically trapped in Faulkner’s mansion, in Santa Fe, where he must fight for his life to escape. In doing so, he finds himself in the loving protection of the spiritually powerful San Marcos Pueblo people of whom Faulkner intends to buy lucrative, expiring water rights from. If Faulkner succeeds, the humble Pueblo and its rich culture and history will surely perish.
Bergstrom finds unexpected love in the Pueblo and attempts to hide and save her from the ever-growing psychic power of Faulkner while, at the same time, rediscovering and developing his self-hidden psychic gift. As the date for buying the water rights quickly approaches, Bergstrom and the Pueblo leaders must rely on the Hunter’s Moon to launch their spiritual attack against him. A time when Faulkner is his weakest and they are their strongest. However, the ultimate sacrifice must be made to ensure their success and save their people.

Summary:While considering things spiritual I looked up the dates of origin of the religions of the world and the dates when variations on those religions occurred. Interesting stuff. I though about a poem which incorporated that information but after a couple pages I decided that it was boring as the Congressional Record. So this poem came to mind and it seemed to fit the existing title. Comments welcome.Chapters: |

Summary:Some mildly spiritual musing as I thought about how great it would be if prayer was an immediate and viable solution to the maladies of life. And in some ways I suppose it is.
Comments welcome.

 | The Carlisle County Bad Men | michael webb | Short Story | Other | 10 | 1.04 | Feb 3, 2007 |
Summary:This is the first of i think three parts. I am trying to figure how to break it up. The story is about a rural County divided into four sections. The events in this particular part of the story set up the rest of the story. There is a lot of meanness with ignorance and isolation. Please, see for yourself.Chapters: |
