Summary:This is a new start for my novel in progress that I originally named War Everlasting (I'm still rooting about for a decent title). The story concerns husband and wife, Arch and Pithy and how they cope when he returns from the Front horribly disfigured. Pithy finds she is unable to accept Arch physically, though she still loves him. He turns to a local prostitue and, surprisingly, it is she who helps restore his self-belief. The novel begins with Pithy's past, to give us a sense of her motivations. I'm looking for any general feedback and thank you in advance. Cheers, KeenChapters: |

Summary:Jake Wilson lives a life very much to himself. He seems content enough. He is close with his sister, Michelle. And his best-friend Alex is a pickup artist that tries to bring the best (or worst) out of Jake. And he has a decent enough job, which he only hates most of the time. Everything seems to be fine until a series of events leads Jake to question who he is. He meets the girl of his dreams, Chelsea. He receives a concussion. His ex-girlfriend, Rebekah, comes back into his life. His estranged father dies. And Jake's life spins out of control. But after receiving the concussion, Jake begins to see the masks he wears, and he begins to feel a burning in his stomach. It is at this moment that Jake begins the strenuous journey of self-discovery.Chapters: |

 | RUDIE CAN'T FAIL | Spazmo Jones | Novel | Young Adult | 15 | n/a | Aug 20, 2008 |
Summary:Dumped by his girlfriend and betrayed by his father, slacker Rudie Chikauski spins into a summer odyssey on the island of Nantucket where run-ins with freaky locals and a love affair with an older woman teach him to become the man he’s never had the courage to be - himself.
Rudie outsmarts a misguided carpenter and a salty Public Works supervisor to earn the painting contract at the island rest home. He also earns the love of Jule, the Home’s laundress, who has her own challenges to face including a distant husband, a fortieth birthday, and an illness she can’t fight alone.
With the help of three friends and the Home’s resident elders, Rudie matures with the summer coming face-to-face with rival painters, proud nudists, raging bonfires, serious crunchers (big waves), and potential death by crucifix. At summer’s end, he makes a decision that will complete his transformation and point the way to new beginnings.
Thanks for looking in!
