Summary:This is meant to be one short piece of flash fiction comprised of 7 short flash pieces that stand on their own as individual stories. It's an experiment I decided to try and I'm very interested to know if you think that it's effective. What would you change in terms of how these stories are presented, the order they are presented, and the 7 themes that create the story. Summary:Humans weave myths. Individuals and societies use such stories as guideposts or points of departure. There are few that address a future with climate change.----
For 1200 years Hopi elders have warned that man’s Fourth Cycle is drawing to a close. Climate refugees and water rights are rivers the Stolzfus clan navigates as our Earth warms. The root (a sort of over-soul transcendent of individual life) of Crazy Horse (Tasunke Witko) balks at a new offer to incarnate.----
Settings: Pennsylvania’s Amish/Mennonite farmlands, the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and Io, first among Jupiter’s moons.
