Summary:This story follows the footsteps of a mage named Kha as he tries to understand what happened when his group tried to explore a cave and nearly everyone he loved died.
I'm working with a story with clues that span years. I'm trying to find a format that will allow me to get that across in a quick and easy read. Bear with me. I'll get it. Really I will. Temporarily, chapters 4 and 5 are down pending rewrites. I didn't want to complicate the read with misinformation. You can skip the numbers to move on in the story. All you'll have missed is a lot of clues, a story about Airen taking out a giant without backup and meeting a hearth-witch in one of the waystations. When you begin Chapter 6, Kha will be in Aerie and reuniting with Airen.
I'm looking for holes in the plot, inconsistencies in the story, and any details about medieval trivia that you might happen to know. While I'm interested in correcting the punctuation, I'd rather have feedback on the story itself, flow and voices. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback. Feel free to rip this apart and point out any and all flaws. I'm not looking to be complimented. I want you to point out the mistakes. Take care, Amy Chapters: |

Summary:This is a the start of a story I began last year, in response to a friends request for western short stories to be submitted for a western anthology of short stories he was thing about publishing.
I am not out of the closet yet about my passion for a good western (oops, maybe I am now) but I have always wanted to have a go at writing one. Life diverted me from continuing the story until today, when I stumbled across it, and tuned it up for review.
Please don't hold back anything you think about my writing.
I would enjoy writing western short stories when I need a break from the long grind of my novel project.
Thanks:)
