Summary:Well, it's as good a night as any for stirring up a hornet's nest... This subject is extremely complex and, in my opinion, has no "right" answers. Perhaps the most valid ones are deeply personal. I tried to envision and describe what it would feel like to receive news of my own impending death, especially the aftermath of helplessness brought on by fear of pain, suffering, and loss of control and dignity. For me, the central issue is one of empowerment and choice. Comments about the poem or its subject matter are welcomed. **And, by the way: this poem really WAS circular. The format here warped it into an oval ** So sorry.Chapters: |

Summary:My new husband and I love totally different music. He is a bass player of Jazz.. while I can enjoy it... he doesn't really embrace my simple need for 'gut reaction to music.'
Music has been my escape through abuse and sorrow. I live within music. He lives within correctness of music I think.
These are simply raw emotions I expressed after we both listened to some music. He wasn't stirred by mine and I was left wanting by his.

Summary:I'm not sure how such a bizarre story came to me but the idea of a breast with a life of its own struck me as amusing. And how the mammary can act as a sort of go-between, bringing a man and woman together. I hope no one finds this story offensive for this wasn't my intention. Do please let me know if you find it compelling enough and if it flows okay. My spelling is UK spelling so please bear with me! KeenChapters: |

Summary:Due to aldersmith's inspiration, I am posting a short story that used to be one of the chapters in A Gypsy Among Gysies. If you haven't read Gypsy, review it like any short story. For those of you who have read my memoir, I would love to know if you think I should add this to Gypsy. Thanks, Nancy Chapters: |
