Tiamat Ashtad, or Tash as she is called, is thrown into the middle of a high profile kidnapping when the suspect targets her. Okay, so first this probably falls into the urban fantasy/romance section. Here's my summary: Thousands of years ago demons were imprisoned in Tartarus, the deepest and darkest realm of Hell, only granted leave when summoned by magic, where they continually seek chaos and destruction. All that stands in their way is a group of nine vampire warriors. Eadbert Zarathustra, known to his brothers as EZ, has always been the most reckless of the warriors, throwing himself haphazardly into the demons’ paths. But after almost killing himself during the brotherhood’s last mission, he is sent to find the daughter of one of his fallen comrades who is a unique half vampire.
