Summary:I just did some tweakin' and would love any feedback or suggestions on this poem. I had the most trouble with the second stanza, but kinda think I like it now, maybe; I'm going for a staccato, choppy sound with 'are plucked or hewn', so I'm wondering if that works or not.

Summary:Okay, I don't know if this has ever been done on this site. I am posting the text for a children's picture book I am writing. I want to know if it flows, makes sense, if the word choices seem right. Each paragraph represents a page. The parenthetical remarks are to let you know what the illustration will be with each page. The beginning part of the story is just what the fisherman sees as he makes his way to the harbor to go fishing.
