 | The Remarkable Martin Faulkner | Esteban Luis Soto | Novel | Fantasy | 2 | n/a | Oct 30, 2011 |
Summary:Martin Faulkner is a moral deviant of the spiritual realm yet an extremely successful businessman in the “Psychic Arts.” He is a vile man, yet the best (or worst depending on your point of view) of his kind. Since his childhood, he was gifted with extraordinary psychic abilities but his one true weakness is preying on the recently deceased souls of the young and desperate. His favorites are those of young Native Americans that perish from disease in the San Marcos Pueblo across the river from him.
Johnathon Bergstrom is a freelance journalist hired to document the life and impending demise of Faulkner but instead finds himself psychically trapped in Faulkner’s mansion, in Santa Fe, where he must fight for his life to escape. In doing so, he finds himself in the loving protection of the spiritually powerful San Marcos Pueblo people of whom Faulkner intends to buy lucrative, expiring water rights from. If Faulkner succeeds, the humble Pueblo and its rich culture and history will surely perish.
Bergstrom finds unexpected love in the Pueblo and attempts to hide and save her from the ever-growing psychic power of Faulkner while, at the same time, rediscovering and developing his self-hidden psychic gift. As the date for buying the water rights quickly approaches, Bergstrom and the Pueblo leaders must rely on the Hunter’s Moon to launch their spiritual attack against him. A time when Faulkner is his weakest and they are their strongest. However, the ultimate sacrifice must be made to ensure their success and save their people.

 | Angels Ascending | Kydd Dustyn | Novel | Science Fiction | 3 | n/a | Feb 14, 2011 |
Summary:Book 3 of the Angel Trilogy. The return of the Archangels Uriel and Michael reveal new and terrible dangers lurking in New Jerusalem along with a coming mutant war that may be the end of everything human.
Fair warning: Uses multiple POVs. I can fix nits, tighten, repair plot holes, add or subtract some things, but I can't change the POV thing or the plotline. 1200 pages have preceded this story and book 1 is a done deal headed for the publisher's printers, due out on the shelves at Barnes and Noble Sept. 2012. Book 2 is in process of final edits. This is book three in first draft form, so it's going to need some help--probably lots of help. Every nit found and fixed, every adjustment in wording or clearing something up will help, so don't hesitate to tell it like it is! I need kind but constructive honesty here. Thanks! Hope you enjoy it!

 | The Doo Run Run Affair | Kydd Dustyn | Novel | Mystery and Crime | 4 | n/a | Dec 11, 2009 |
Summary:Number 2 in the Eagle Plume Detective series (the first is Homo Necans). To help you decide if you want to read this: this is a police crime story, not a mystery and I write in multiple POVs, though I do try to make it obvious when I switch characters. It does involve a shapeshifter quasi-psychic detective, so there's an element of the paranormal. The main focus, however, is solving the crime. Hope you choose to read on! Chapters: |
