Chapters Author Info Summary: When my daughter was small, I used to awaken from nightmares where she walked a fine line between life and death. Sometimes, in a state of confusion, I'd run to my bedroom window searching for her. Sometimes, I'd climb into her bed, would curl around her small sleeping form and would comfort myself that she was still safe. This poem reflects reality now. Abandoned by her father, my daughter struggles with feelings of abandonment and bipolar disorder. The dream is a consolidation of more current nightmares. Looking for feedback on structure. Want to keep it free verse but want to structure the piece to create the most evocative imagery. Thank you for reviewing. Chapters:
