Summary:

When I posted six chapters of a novelette, entitled, "Double Take," I received quite a lot of reviews and suggestions. The suggestions were to: Flesh out the characters more, tell us more about the planet and background, add more action, more about Bearach (spelled Baarach in the original), and make it into a novel. I have listened and this is the real beginning. I will revise and insert the original somewhere in the novel. I know where I want to go with it and I will write it as I post it. The main character will still be Ryon, whom you will find was an extraordinary baby. Your former feedback is much appreciated. I hope I have incorporated most of your suggestions in the story.

This is an 8000 word short story about a man from another planet who finds himself charged with criminal physical abuse of his wife, who railroads him into prison. All is not what it seems with the man, nor with those helping him. This will be in several chapters, possibly 6.
