Summary:

Taking a break from Ruby Rose and feeling reflective, so thought I'd give poetry a crack. Not because I'm any good at it, but I wanted to play around with interpretations/double meanings. I know as a poem this is really awkward - clumsy rhyming, lousy rhythm, annoying experimental pace ... so I'm looking more for suggestions on how to improve, rather than pointing out what I already know is crap. I'm particularly looking for feedback on the content - I'm trying for the interpreting-alternative-meanings concept without being too obvious or too obscure ... walkin' the line, I guess.

This is an evolving work, the chapters are disjointed and I think it's pretty much a mess right now. I want readers to know this is more of an outline of what the finish product will be. When I get to shaping that outline into something intelligible is anyone's guess. Thanks for reading. Story summary: This is a story of a woman who found her idea of a perfect man in two abusive relationships. She goes from denial to realization to resolution in one week. It isn't pretty. Anything you can suggest to make it flow better and make sense I will appreciate. dags:)

This is the monologue of a comedian who is doing his first performance on stage about meeting a girl on Match.com. I would like ideas on how to make it more humorous, and whether some of the "valley girl" language has to be removed to make it sound more like a male comedian. Also, let me know if it's R or PG.

My writing penchant is humour, so this one is unusual for me, but had to be written. Whether I should have posted it on tNBW is another matter. I find the saturation promotional advertising of up-coming tv programs to be extremely irritating. One in particular that was doing the rounds really p'd me off. As I lay in bed one night trying to sleep I got quite incensed. I could not sleep until I had grabbed my laptop computer and wrote down what was bounding around inside my skull. This is the result.

My daughter Nicole is pregnant with her second son. Last week she called and wanted to co-write a book with me about the things men shouldn't say to pregnant women. I doubt I'd live long enough to write that book and it would probably weigh a lot, so she'll have to be happy with this. The first four statements or questions were really said to her - three by her husband. Nicole, this one's for you and I'll be happy to testify on your behalf at your trial.

The humorous story of an attractive forty-something woman, labeled by some in society as a "cougar," trying to succeed as the public relations manager to a sex-crazed Mayor in the world of Philadelphia's city politics. The wild antics of her dates, co-workers, and especially the mayor, add up as she tries to keep the mayor out of trouble and successfully land her dream job as a White House public relations manager. Things really get out of control when a religious foreign diplomat comes to town, accompanied by his beautiful twenty-two year old "party down" daughter.
