Summary:

With his parents recently dead from a car accident, Shaw has become lost in life. Unsure of where to go he finds solace in the letters from his Aunt. An Aunt he has never met and before it's all over, an Aunt he'll wish he had never met. He goes to live with her in a small village located in the back woods of Florida, and it turns out that this particular village is run by a cult, of which his aunt is a member of, and the cult is run by a particularly evil man by the name of Pastor Brown. Any comments at all would be much appreciated as this is my first crack at a novel. Thank you.

Summary:

As a student at U.Mass., Amherst, I enrolled in a watercolor class taught by then-unknown Yale graduate Chuck Close. He was 24, I was 30. Best class I ever had in any subject. Later, he became world famous and I still admire him for his fight with paralysis and continuing art work. He's a one-man miracle.
