I am not fanatic about anything. I am passionate about almost anything I enjoy very much. I am not a religious person, but I am a Christian who lived almost 50 years knowing all about God from books, classes, being in church and whatever. After that age I met God and got to know him on a first name basis and I do enjoy writing about my faith. It is not to offend you but to share my joy hope you will enjoy it too.

There was a time when writing caught up with me. I simply did not know where else I could go. I no longer wanted to be political or social or cultural or sexual. I didn't even want to hear music anymore. I needed a hero far greater than I could imagine. I just needed to feel like a child again, wide eyed, and hopeful. So I wrote a baseball Saga, titled A Legend Of Sleepy, followed by this poetic Novel (Prosetry). I hope someone on this site likes it.

I'd better explain a couple of things which may have you scratching your head. Muti = Af for medicine, poison, etc etc. Sun-downer = a drink (or 3) imbibed at about the time the sun’s going down, being 5:30 – 6:30 around these parts. I look forward to comments.

This is a simple piece inspired by the TITLE of a song written by my singer/songwriter son Brad. Rework it as felt is terribly lacking and cliche. This piece is meaningful to me so any help is much appreciated. Point out cliches... where you grimace! ha. Is it better? Much appreciation

I have done a few minor alterations/editing, I think it reads a little easier. Still some work to do though. Young man involved in horse breedng, works with his father who dies whilst out riding. Tale of how the young man buys a new stallion. Then it is stolen, recovered, he is threatened, and shot at. Until eventually he discovers who the horse is and why people want him. There is also romance in the air when he meets a young woman and falls in love.

This is an abbreveated version of a story my grandfather used to tell many years ago. I just transcribed it into something resembling a poem. As most of you know, I am a HORRIBLE poet!
