Summary:Taking a break from Ruby Rose and feeling reflective, so thought I'd give poetry a crack. Not because I'm any good at it, but I wanted to play around with interpretations/double meanings.
I know as a poem this is really awkward - clumsy rhyming, lousy rhythm, annoying experimental pace ... so I'm looking more for suggestions on how to improve, rather than pointing out what I already know is crap.
I'm particularly looking for feedback on the content - I'm trying for the interpreting-alternative-meanings concept without being too obvious or too obscure ... walkin' the line, I guess.Chapters: |

Summary:Being in a new place without a friend is a scary situation for everyone. Sometimes, when making friends, the right person isn’t around for you. People might not like the same things as you, you might not get along, the person might just like to be alone, and, even sometimes, people just don’t have a reason for not wanting to be friends. It’s okay to not make friends with the first people you meet. You just need to have patience to find the right friend for you! Join Squiggle the Tiggle in his quest to find a friend. The star shape eyed, sparkly nosed, and pudgy-bodied Tiggle must wiggle his way through sand, water, bubbles and mud in his search through the land of Pibnee. Along the way he encounters many creatures kind and unkind and many spectacular new places in Pibnee, before he finds the right friend for him.

Summary:This is one of a series of stories that were designed as "oral histories" ostensibly recorded in the early 1970s by James Johannson, a tavern owner and retired mining engineer in the fictional small town of Caroline, Missouri. Caroline is situated about six miles from Mt. Vernon, the seat of Lawrence County in southwestern part of the state. This is part one of the story. Jake Bodre is a bachelor living on a farm near Caroline who one day decides to get married. Remember, this story is told by Jim Johannson, a retired mining engineer and avid hunter, so if he goes off on a tangent about Galena and Sphalerite and other things, please forgive him.Chapters: |

Summary:Yesterday I had fun! Silly piece for those who know my beserkness. Not a word but that is fitting!
This is a piece I have been working on for weeks and struggling. I am afraid it shows but tweaked it a bit last evening.
When one does a piece in honor of another to me it should represent their best.
Is this there? No! Will it ever be? Not sure it is possible. Why this piece of art has so moved me I haven't a clue unless it is the darkness this man lived in at times and my own small pits I have visited.
Serious input is welcomed. Sometimes that open the mind to see your own work more clearly and can tweak the thinking.Chapters: |

Summary:I'd better explain a couple of things which may have you scratching your head.
Muti = Af for medicine, poison, etc etc.
Sun-downer = a drink (or 3) imbibed at about the time the sun’s going down, being 5:30 – 6:30 around these parts.
I look forward to comments.Chapters: |

Summary:This is a new piece that is short and I hope sweet for erotica. I believe it could use some more character development but wanted to keep things short to get back into the game after a few months away from writing.Chapters: |
