Summary:I took a women's studies English course in college in the mid 70's. This poem is a recently tweaked oldie, based on textbook margin scribbles jotted while being lectured on Woolf, Plath and Sexton. I think of the words in italics as those of the professor(s). Needless to say, not a happy topic or poem. Rhythm and rhyming's not my usual style. Several lines are based on writings by these poets. All comments appreciated.Chapters: |
