 | KIND OF BLUE (OOO BEE OOO BEE DOO ) MISSISSIPPI 1959 | Ellis | Poetry | Poetry | 7 | 0.73 | Jan 6, 2012 |
Summary:In 1959, Miles Davis had released one of the most successful albums ever, Kind Of Blue. These Blues crossed state lines, even as far as Mississippi. That song inspired this poem.
One of my greatest habits as a writer is the cliff hanger. The readers imagination is just as great as mine. So I will let the readers finish this particular poem. It is what it is. I thank you in advance for reading. Not feeling well and this is what comes out of my mind when I'm under the weather.Chapters: |

Summary:I just put this together as a parting poem. It took me all of thirty minutes to write. Wanted to leave you with a high note, literally. I will always be a part of the TNBW family. I have a daughter going through a crisis and for a short while I have to put the metaphors away. I will keep my pen filled with ink until we are reunited again. Thank you so much for not only welcoming me into your house, but allowing to walk on the red carpet as well. You are all my heroes...
This is not a great poem, but there is love between the lines.Chapters: |
