Summary:No pretense this is anything but pouring out of feelings and venting a need to draw attention to what we are about as a people and how so many are overlooked.
Poetically very needy of structure etc etc etc... But not my goal at the moment
I leave that to far better poets Chapters: |

Summary:All feedback is welcome. Technical is desired as weak point.
This is a simple piece about 'feelings' I know! Overdone subject but alas.. they do follow us closely. This is a piece that took two minutes and to be honest have no idea where it came from. This is how I write. I cannot 'create' like so many of the talented writers on this site.
REVISITING THIS PIECE I SAW A LOT 'WRONG' WITH IT. Hopefully I have improved since first posting.. that is the feedback I would love to have. Improved? Not so self serving as not my intent. What I writer I feel is experienced by many.

Summary:This is a story about the time in March 2007 that four tornadoes converged on my parent's farm and the destruction, devastation, trauma, loss, and sorrow it brought to our family. It is also about the sense of hope, help, growth, triumph, strength, family, friends, faith, and community that came along with it. There's even a weird sort of humor thrown in here and there . . . I hope you enjoy it. Unfortunately, due to the number of natural disasters we have going on in our country (and the world over)in recent years, it is a story we share with too many others . . .Chapters: |

Summary:Lot going on in today's news and the wide and widening gap of those with and those without. Since I am only a sentimental Putz ... my stand is that of a softhearted idiot who would indeed share her last meal or go without if that meal would feed two.
The gap is going to get even wider if certain parties bring down the economy to destroy this Presidents chance of a second term. Think it crazy? Take a another look. Am I happy with Obama? Not on all levels but smart enough about politics to know, hands get tied...
Any and all feedback on how this is written.. is it strong, did I capture what I was going for?
DO I THROW ALL RICH PEOPLE IN ONE HUGE PILE ... NO NO NO
My uncle was rich in his day and gave to many in need as do many. This is for those who hold being poor in contempt and due to something lacking in the 'makeup' of the being in question. Chapters: |

Summary:This is an old piece and I post it only to let many know that Flo is okay! Things have been rather dark and sad lately BUT... my humor is alive and well. I worked on this piece as was embarrassed by the horrendous amount of errors.
Are there still errors! Of course! This is me folks! Still a student.
No need to leave reviews as many have already read it. I am reposting it for those who need to laugh or at least I hope they laugh or nod in recognition.

Muti = Af for medicine, poison, etc etc.
Sun-downer = a drink (or 3) imbibed at about the time the sun’s going down, being 5:30 – 6:30 around these parts.

Summary:My writing penchant is humour, so this one is unusual for me, but had to be written. Whether I should have posted it on tNBW is another matter.
I find the saturation promotional advertising of up-coming tv programs to be extremely irritating. One in particular that was doing the rounds really p'd me off. As I lay in bed one night trying to sleep I got quite incensed. I could not sleep until I had grabbed my laptop computer and wrote down what was bounding around inside my skull.
This is the result.Chapters: |
