Summary:My husband's grandmother would have celebrated her 108th birthday this past Valentine's Day. I remember Grandma Esther with fondness and love and I've dedicated this story to her memory. As a young bride and mother, I learned much from this lovely woman. I'm thinking about submitting this to a couple of publications, so any any nits are appreciated. Thank you!Chapters: |

Summary:Taking a break from Ruby Rose and feeling reflective, so thought I'd give poetry a crack. Not because I'm any good at it, but I wanted to play around with interpretations/double meanings.
I know as a poem this is really awkward - clumsy rhyming, lousy rhythm, annoying experimental pace ... so I'm looking more for suggestions on how to improve, rather than pointing out what I already know is crap.
I'm particularly looking for feedback on the content - I'm trying for the interpreting-alternative-meanings concept without being too obvious or too obscure ... walkin' the line, I guess.Chapters: |

Any suggestion always appreciated. This is a growing need
and the saddest part is many vets or homeless people go unheeded and nobody believes they are for real. Some aren't ... they are people simply taking advantage of the public.. BUT I am not taking that chance! There are ways to tell. Paying close attention or being a fool now and then.
To give when one has so little is the truest of giving Chapters: |
