 | THINKING OF MONET | flowing pencil | Poetry | Poetry | 9 | 0.08 | Nov 3, 2011 |
Summary:Trying to capture a sight during a drive October 30th... It was really magic as Autumn hued leaves were being stripping from the maples trees and swirling around us like huge colorful snowflakes. Monet's Haystacks came to mind. I tried to capture it. I hope I did it justice. Started in older English but ran it by Jlb and he suggested I go with my other version of modern language.
Thanks Jim..

Summary:A simple experience I had this morning. Paying close attention to what I saw and how I reacted inwardly. I do a lot of this lately and I feel it enriches writing.

 | Random Ramblings | flowing pencil | Poetry | Poetry | 12 | 0.59 | Mar 31, 2011 |
Summary:As the title suggests. Randoms ramblings is simply about words I cannot control and at times too rapid to try and make sense of. I would imagine within them, lies more truth than even I can recognize?
Sometimes almost a 'verse?' Sometimes a line or two is all I get and I don't add other words that needed 'creating' ... as that would be planned.
Make any sense?

 | The Christmas Call | Sherman Law | Short Story | Memoir | 7 | 0.48 | Dec 25, 2008 |
Summary:I'm trying to capture my conversation with my 9 year old Goddaughter Ali from this morning. Partly for the Christmas memory, and partly to record how Ali talks at the age of 9. To do this justice you have to read Ali's part very fast, because that is how she talks when she is excited. She slowed way down when she got sentimental towards the end.Chapters: |

Summary:For some unknown reason, women feel they must drop hints as to the gifts they would like to receive from men. The poem is a silly take on how this ritual does NOT work!Chapters: |
