Summary:

This is one of my favourite poems (not that I'm much of a poet), I wonder if you will like it also. I chose a French title (which means 'Their Hands') because I think it makes it more whimsical)

I need some very specific criticism here. I've been told that my characters are flat, and I know I don't do settings well. Please tell me where this stuff should go. I'm trying not to interject these things in such a way to ruin the flow/style of the story. But I haven't figured it out yet. HELP!!!!!!!!!

This is a very simple piece. Really a piece that could just as easy be about a mother. Why I chose a father? I don't know.. I do daycare and I see both struggling to keep a balance going. As a poetic piece? Most likely lacking. Just a statement of observation by a poetic observer.

an expression of gratitude and love for a man who stepped in when he was needed. for a man who became more of a father than we had ever had before.
