 | A VISIT FROM SHAKESPEARE | flowing pencil | Poetry | Poetry | 8 | 0.37 | Feb 1, 2012 |
Summary:OKAY.. Hit me hard as Shakespeare did visit and this is what poured out and I mean poured out! It is a ten minute or less write and I haven't a clue from where it came...
Maybe I should begin to entertain the belief in muses even if they might be old rusty ones??? Do not ask me to remove the 'woe' or any old fashion term as Willy might get pissed.
Only kidding..

 | Rath Raven | kaleigh castle-maguire | Short Story | Flash Fiction | 4 | 0.53 | Jan 29, 2012 |
Summary:This short piece was for a flash fiction competition and I really don't know what, if anything, to do with it now. There was a hard word limit of I think 800 or 850, but if I work on it some more I can extend it. It is a short short though so I probably wouldn't want to make it longer than around 1,500. I'd be interested in what folks think on length, plot, characters, POV etc.Chapters: |
 | THIS HAPPENED A WHILE BACK | Justi Moody | Poetry | Religion and Spirituality | 5 | 0.73 | Jan 13, 2012 |
Summary:I am not fanatic about anything. I am passionate about almost anything I enjoy very much. I am not a religious person, but I am a Christian who lived almost 50 years knowing all about God from books, classes, being in church and whatever. After that age I met God and got to know him on a first name basis and I do enjoy writing about my faith. It is not to offend you but to share my joy hope you will enjoy it too. Chapters: |

 | Ever After | Zer0 | Short Story | Literary Fiction | 8 | 1.82 | Dec 18, 2011 |
Summary:This is a fairytale like none other you have ever read. It is intended to expose, invert and reverse the myriad of intolerant, oppressive, degrading ideologies attached to historical fairytale narratives such as the 'Grimm's Fairy Tales' collection and their Disney reenactments. It is part satire and part intense drama. I would very much like to hear what people think of it. Chapters: |
 | Genie from Hell | Linkun Chen | Short Story | Horror | 4 | 0.61 | Dec 8, 2011 |
Summary:A short story I wrote for a little girl who loved fairy tales. If you've read chapters 1 and 2 of my Novel, "Midnight Man," this story will probably sound familiar. But I hope you will still be able to enjoy this story on its own merits.
I would like to publish this story in some sort of short story collection or anthology, along with several other short stories I've written, either with other authors or by myself. So let me know if anyone else is interested in doing something like that.Chapters: |

Summary:Please do not feel the need to leave another review. The first piece was actually posted accidentally and while it was well received it was not the piece I had in mind and was only a outline of sorts. I didn't even know I had posted it until the I saw a review! aaaaaagggghhhh.
I am conscious of reviews and rankings so a little uncomfortable doing this. Will work that out later.
I have saved the original.. But this was what I saw. I is metaphorical in nature.
I see many in this peril.. It saddens me. I have no rope to cast...
Any an all feedback always embraced. I hope you find this one as emotionally impacting as I wanted it to be.

 | "911 Dispatch, What is Your Emergency?" (My First One Hundred Days) | Lost Soul | Novel | Humor | 2 | n/a | Oct 19, 2008 |
Summary:Okay I am back once again on an expiramental basis. This is a comedy but a rather dark one. If you could think of everything that is right and good about the Emergency Medical Services then throw that out the window, you are coming close to what my novel is about. For those that remember Beavis and Buthead, they were everything you did not want your teen to be all rolled up into two characters. In everything about those two boys was a grain of uncomftorble truth. I am writing about, no exploiting that grain of uncomftroble truth.
As to feed back first and formost I want to know if it was funny and enough to hook you into reading more. Then hit me with the nits. Just don't look the other way, look at what I have to say.

 | Survivor's Carnival | arianna cordelle sofer | Poetry | Poetry | 7 | 1.50 | Aug 23, 2008 |
Summary:Warning: this is a little on the messed up side. This is another poem that one of my "characters" wrote.
He is deeply traumatized, 22 years old and has pychotic breaks/flashbacks. I don't want to give too much away because this is from book 3. The character has constant suicidal thoughts, but is unable to act on them. I'm really trying to work on refining the poetry style, becasue I've never written poems before. Chapters: |
 | Bed for My Sorrows | arianna cordelle sofer | Poetry | Poetry | 9 | 0.53 | Aug 20, 2008 |
Summary:I am not a poet at all, but one of my characters is. He has a large role in book 2 and book 3. At the time in his life where he writes this poem, he is an abolute mess. His family was murdered, and he was beaten nearly to death. Before the tragedym he was a quiet gentle hearted artist, who wrote and sang songs for children in his spare time. Now he's unstable and a ittle psychotic.-------------------
Feel free to rewrite the poem if you'd like, as long as all his thoughts stay in it. I'm not talented enough to pull off poetry, and I want him to sound talented.Chapters: |
