Chapters Author Info Summary: The last thing Gretchen Gesner expected on her way home from a long teacher’s conference in Albuquerque was to find a body in the middle of the highway. Screeching to a stop, Gretchen gets out of her car and is shocked to find that the crumpled heap in front of her is still alive. In dialing 911 she saves his life, but now Gretchen must decide whether to risk opening up her heart to this man or keep hiding behind past betrayals. This is a rough first draft and I would love thoughts on the pacing and whether or not there's enough drama in the chapters to keep you reading till the end.
