Summary:If Dr. Magnolia Pruné, principal of Doolittle Elementary School, hadn’t been so universally hated, despised and reviled, she may have not been found hanging from a steel beam in the school’s gym—disguised as a pirate— during their Halloween festival.
Establishing motive for Dr. Pruné’s murder turns out to be quite easy. Narrowing down which of the twenty-eight suspects left her hanging was far more elusive. After two weeks of investigation, the case solved and an arrest imminent, an unexpected catastrophe befalls Doolittle Elementary School garnering nationwide attention. Amongst the chaos of Doolittle’s new tragedy, an entire school community is suddenly required to suspend their disbelief and unite as one. With a killer still in their midst, their feelings of shock, anxiety, grief, dismay and heartbreak finally give way to tears of joy as they witness a faith-based miracle. The killer of Dr. Magnolia Pruné is finally arrested, tried and sentenced yet there is one more surprise in store for this sleepy Florida town. They say things happen in threes.

Summary:A dark farce. Two women in a crowded restaurant discuss their marital problems. A lot of intermingling of dialogue, rapid scene shifting. Do you think it works? BTW, based on reviews of my other stories I've been more careful re: over tagging of dialogue, author intrusion. I think I've improved on that. Candid input, please.Chapters: |
